The Muddy Charles Pub, located on the first floor of Walker Memorial (Building 50), is not only situated along the Charles River, but has a great view of the Boston skyline!
The feel-at-home atmosphere makes The Muddy Charles Pub a great place to converse with friends and if you get those late night munchies, feel free to use the pubs large collection of local order-in menus.
Founded in 1968, The Muddy Charles Pub is run by MIT graduates. They have their very own Board of Governors who oversee and direct the operations of the pub, and the chair of the board is a current MIT Graduate. Membership is chosen from the patrons of the pub, and is open to MIT staff, faculty, and graduate students.
The Muddy Charles Pub has also received global exposure as a place where science is always brewing.
